Machine Components

The latest addition to Beagle Aircraft is a new state of the art machine shop. This includes 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres all equipped with renishaw probing, as well as high performance turning centres with Y axis capability. This has enabled us to produce high precision components in small or large batches from drawings, solid models or reverse engineering from sample parts and lofts.

We have seats of Edge Cam, Alpha Cam and Catia as well as CMM and Faro Arm inspection to ensure the best quality of our products.

• 3 axis milling – 6 machines total, sizes up to 4000mm x 1800mm x 1000mm
• 4 axis capability CNC Lathe Hwacheon Hi-Tech 230AL YMC
• 5 axis milling – 3 machines total, up to Ø500mm
• Turning – 1 lathe, max Ø400mm x 300mm
• Mill Turning – Ø450mm diameter x 340mm length
• Manual milling – 2 machines
• Manual turning – 2 lathes

Design and Programming capabilities – Utilizing Catia V5, Vericut simulation, Siemens NX, Mastercam and Alphacam. All CNC milling machines fitted with Renishaw touch probes and inspection plus software, allowing high accuracy and low scrap rates.
