As specialist plant and equipment becomes more difficult to source, Beagle Technology Group is embarking on an ambitious plan using our 60 plus years’ experience and stretch forming expertise to commence the design and manufacture a new stretch former to upgrade our existing capability. This ambitious design will be able to be loaded with flat sheet to eliminate the need for pre-forming and will be capable of forming complex geometries including leading edge skins, fuselage skins, nose skins & conical skins in up to 6mm thick aluminium. The forming forces required will exceed 700 tonnes in extreme cases.

The new equipment will be capable of stretching various shapes and envelopes larger than our existing equipment. In terms of tonnage, we are increasing our capability by over 250%.
